Step-by-Step Meditation™ is designed to help you achieve meaningful outcomes through meditation.
Whether you're seeking greater calm, freedom from an overactive mind, deeper self-understanding, or a more conscious way of living, every step of the pathway has a clear purpose, intentionally guiding you towards positive life change.
Each level of Step-by-Step Meditation™ is a complete course within it's own right, with its own unique focus, benefits, and outcomes.
Begin with the first level, then take your meditation as far as you want to go.
Embodied Calm & Stability
Before meditation can deepen, the body needs to learn how to settle.
If sitting still feels uncomfortable, your thoughts race the moment you close your eyes, and meditation is more frustrating than helpful, this is where to begin.
Learn how to settle your body, regulate your nervous system, develop healthy breathing patterns, and become comfortable with stillness. These practical foundations make meditation easier, deeper, and far more effective.
Through experiments, observation, somatic exploration, biosensory feedback, and meditation, Level 1 provides a practical understanding of yourself through the body.
Level 1 is particularly valuable for those new to meditation, as well as anyone experiencing anxiety, chronic stress, overwhelm, or the effects of trauma.
• Learn how to meditate—even when you're stressed and anxious
• Feel more at ease in your body instead of constantly fighting it
• Learn practical ways to calm and regulate yourself during everyday challenges
• Understand why stress and anxiety show up in the body—and how to work with them
• Build the foundations that make meditation natural rather than frustrating
Self Realisation
The path to self-realisation begins beyond the thinking mind.
Level 3 introduces meditation as a process to explore the nature of who you are. Through a structured enquiry process, you'll learn to investigate yourself in real time, observing how your sense of self is created from moment to moment.
As your practice deepens, you'll begin to understand why you think, feel, and behave the way you do.
As you learn to transcend the thinking mind, your true nature begins to reveal itself. What once felt like "you" is recognised as something you've simply come to believe about yourself.
This marks the threshold of self-realisation.
• Learn a structured meditation process for self-enquiry
• Discover the power of direct experience beyond concepts and beliefs
• Use meditation to observe how your sense of self is shaped by conditioning and identity
• Understand how ego shapes the way you experience yourself and the world
• Begin to recognise the difference between who you are and who you've learned to be
• Experience a profound shift in how you see yourself and the world
• Develop greater self-understanding and experience inner freedom
Calm Living
The true measure of meditation is how you meet life's challenges.
Whether it's conflict with the people you love, tension at work, or the same challenges playing out again and again, Level 4 provides a practical roadmap for resolving the situations that continue to cause you the greatest stress and suffering.
Through a systematic process of relational enquiry and meditation, you'll learn how to bring clarity to each situation, uncover what keeps conflict alive, and disarm the reactivity that makes it worse.
This is where insight becomes action, and meditation becomes a way of living.
• Learn how to bring the clarity of meditation into everyday life
• Navigate difficult situations with greater understanding and perspective
• Recognise the deeper dynamics behind recurring conflict and suffering
• Respond with greater clarity, compassion, and wisdom
• Make decisions with greater awareness rather than habitual reaction
• Develop healthier relationships with yourself, others, and life itself
The quality of any practice depends on the clarity of its purpose.

No. Each level is a complete learning experience with its own purpose and outcomes.
For many people, Level 1 provides everything they're looking for—a calmer body, greater regulation, and meditation practices that make meditation easier, deeper, and more effective.
If you'd like to develop a formal meditation practice, Level 2 offers a complete meditation system that goes well beyond most introductory mindfulness programs, leaving you with a clear understanding of meditation and a practice you can use for life.
Whether you choose to explore the later levels is entirely up to you.
Often meditation is taught as isolated techniques or in an open-ended way that leaves people unsure what they're working towards or whether they're making progress. Step-by-Step Meditation™ provides a clear direction, with each level designed to achieve a specific outcome. Rather than wondering whether your practice is developing, you'll know what you're working towards and how to recognise your progress.
No. Many people begin Step-by-Step Meditation having never meditated before. Level 1 starts at the beginning, with everyone learning the same foundations and progressing through the level together.
It depends on where you're currently at and what you'd like to achieve.
Level 1 and Level 2 have different purposes. Level 1 develops the embodied foundations that make meditation easier, deeper, and more effective. Level 2 focuses on learning a formal meditation practice.
Most people benefit from beginning with Level 1, particularly if they're new to meditation or looking to develop greater calm, regulation, and embodied awareness. However, if you already have the foundations in place and your goal is to develop a structured meditation practice, Level 2 may be a suitable starting point.
If you're unsure where to begin, get in touch and I'll help you choose the most appropriate starting point.
That depends on the format you choose. Some people complete the pathway over several months through weekly classes, while others progress more quickly by attending combined programs or immersive workshops.
The pathway is designed to be completed sequentially, with each level building on the one before it. You don't need to master one level before moving to the next—your understanding and practice naturally continue to deepen as you progress and beyond.
Yes. Each Step-by-Step level is enrolled in separately, allowing you to choose the day, time, or delivery format that best suits you for each level.
Yes. Step-by-Step Meditation™ is delivered as a scheduled, interactive learning experience rather than a self-paced course. Session recordings are not provided, as the value comes from direct interaction, asking questions, and receiving guidance throughout the sessions.
Yes. Meditation is central to every level of the Step-by-Step Meditation pathway. Each level develops different aspects of meditation.
Step-by-Step Meditation isn't aligned with any religion or belief system. While meditation naturally explores deeper questions about ourselves and our experience of life, everything you explore is grounded in your own direct experience rather than through adopting ideas or beliefs.
Each level includes simple guided home practices designed to reinforce your learning between sessions. Around 10–15 minutes a day is recommended to gain the greatest benefit.
Participants are encouraged to attend each session. However, life happens.
If you're unable to attend, please get in touch. Where possible, I'll help you stay on track, although this cannot be guaranteed.
Please note that session recordings are not provided for either in-person or online programs, as the Step-by-Step is designed as an interactive learning experience.
Absolutely. Each time you return, you'll discover new insights and deepen your practice. Previous participants can repeat any level for $95 (subject to availability).
On completion, you can join the Step-by-Step Meditation™ Community to continue practising alongside like-minded people, with ongoing support to integrate the principles and practices into everyday life.
For those who wish to take their learning even further, Facilitator Training provides an opportunity to deepen your understanding and share Step-by-Step Meditation™ with others.
Step-by-Step Meditation™ is available to professionals exclusively through the Facilitator Training program. If you currently teach, facilitate, coach, or work professionally with others, please contact Lisa to discuss the appropriate enrolment pathway.

"Meditation is one of the most valuable skills we can learn. Yet despite its enormous potential, the vast majority of people walk away believing they're incapable of meditating.
It doesn't have to be this way.
The problem isn't the people.
It's that meditation delivery hasn't evolved to meet us where we are.
That's why I've dedicated my work to meditation education — so that the benefits of meditation can reach not just the dedicated monk, but regular people living regular lives."
